Message From The President
Greetings and welcome to the official website of Iota Eta Eta, Inc. of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc!
It is with great pride and gratitude that I serve as the President of this dynamic and service-driven chapter.
As members of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.—a professional organization of registered nurses and nursing students founded in 1932 by Nurse Ailene Carrington Ewell and 11 courageous Black nurses in Washington, D.C.—we are committed to excellence in nursing, leadership, and service to all mankind.
Rooted in our motto “Service for Humanity,” our chapter remains steadfast in upholding the principles upon which our illustrious organization was founded: leadership, education, mentorship, advocacy, and community service. We are proud to be part of a sisterhood that spans the nation and abroad, promoting the advancement of the nursing profession and improving health outcomes in underserved communities.
Whether you are a fellow nurse, student, community partner, or simply exploring our site, I invite you to learn more about our programs, initiatives, and the incredible impact our members make every day. Through health education, scholarship, and community engagement, we are building stronger communities—one act of service at a time.
Thank you for visiting. We hope you are inspired by our mission and join us in making a lasting difference in the world of nursing and beyond.
In Service and Sisterhood,
